What do we mean by integrated service planning?

Integrated service planning means developing personalised and bespoke services that are brought together and delivered in ways that are ‘joined up’ and easy to access for individuals and employers.  Providing a ‘gold standard’ service also means understanding the needs and goals of different customer groups.

This approach not only underpins the development of an effective employment and skills system, but also features strongly in the development drivers in other fields of public service including health, social care and children’s services.

How can we help?

JH Consulting has developed the Integrated Service Planning approach and Matrix to help agencies and organisations plan and design tailored, high quality services that not only meet the needs of customers, but also enable partners to meet their objectives and targets.

Our tools draw on extensive action research and development in the field, resulting in tried and tested methods that work. Examples of how our Integrated Service Planning consultancy can help include:

  • Local Authorities, Primary Care Trusts, Learning & Skills Council, Jobcentre Plus and other key organisations working together to identify how integrated services can tackle health, skills and employment issues of priority groups more effectively.

  • Putting into practice and making a reality of complex partnership strategies, pilots and trials – such as Integrated Employment and Skills trials, City Strategies, Local Area Agreements etc.

  • Adding value to the development and delivery of Joint Investment Plans and co-commissioning

Our consultancy is based on the principle of us transferring our skills and knowledge – so that our input has lasting impact and contributes to the success of your work.  To put this into practice, we offer a range of services, tailored to suit your organisation/partnerships needs.  This can include:

  • A consultation to produce a bespoke Integrated Planning Matrix to suit the particular needs of your specialist area

  • Facilitated workshops to enable you and your partners to take forward your priority areas for development and planning, using the Integrated Planning Matrix.

  • Follow up support to maximise the impact and benefits of using the approach.
