The London Skills for Life Strategy was developed with the Multi Agency Skills Team (MAST) in 2006 to set out a shared plan that could tackle London’s challenges for literacy, ESOL, numeracy and key skills. Progress has been made in implementing the Strategy. It is now in the process of being reviewed and refreshed, taking into account achievements and continuing challenges, as well as the significant changes in the landscape over the last two years.
Our work to develop the Licence to Skill approach and to support the establishment of integrated employment and skills services are key parts of the implementation of the Strategy. More details of these can be found on the relevant website pages.
On this page, you can currently download the 2006 Strategy. In the New Year, a report of progress and the new Strategy will available for download.
