Established in 1993, JH Consulting is a dynamic team of associates with a wide range of expertise and a comprehensive skills base. We provide a range of high quality consultancy services for organisations across the public, voluntary and private sectors and spanning the fields of learning, skills and employment, community development and renewal. A particular feature of our work is developing the links in the 'policy to delivery' chain, joining up the front line delivery of services with regional strategy and national policy.

Our portfolio of commissions is diverse.  Each project involves our Director, Jo Hudek, and draws on the skills and expertise of one or more members of our team.

Jo Hudek’s specialisms include strategic development work with bodies such as the Learning & Skills Council and London Development Agency.  She also works with more locally based agencies and community-based organisations, and this breadth of approach enables her to help ‘bridge the gap’ between strategy and delivery.  Jo also has particular expertise in supporting the development of effective partnerships and evaluation that informs forward planning.

Her skills come to the fore in making headway on specific challenges and issues through confidential ideas building sessions. A Fellow of St George’s House, Windsor Castle, Krysia is particularly well known for her unique and stimulating Open Agenda events.

Maggie Cramb’s expertise includes research, evaluation, funding and organisational development. She has an extensive background in the voluntary, community and faith sector and in supporting the development of opportunities for disadvantaged communities.  Before becoming a consultant Maggie held senior posts at the London Voluntary Sector Training Consortium, Women’s Education in Building and the Refugee Council.

Chris Leigh’s expertise in developing sustainable organisations, strategic planning and managing large capital projects has been honed in her former positions of Chief Executive of NEWTEC and Camden ITEC.  She also works with local authorities, New Deal for Community partnerships and private sector companies. Chris is an Associate Inspector for the Adult Learning Inspectorate and co-founder of the Charity Doctor consultancy.
